Al Habib Ali will deliver his first lecture titled “What the World Needs Now is Love, Sweet Love” on Friday 7:45pm Montreal Time correspondent to Saturday 3:45am Mecca Time. Despite the claims of Islam’s enemies, love is at the center of our faith. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, “None of you truly believes until he loves for his fellow man what he loves for himself.” This lecture will look at the meaning of that saying and how we can better perfect our faith by practicing love.
The second lecture titled “When the Prophet, peace be upon him, is Mocked” will be delivered the next day on Saturday 4:00pm Montreal Time correspondent to 12:00am (midnight) Mecca Time. This lecture will examine how our Prophet, peace be upon him, responded to attacks on his person and faith, and how he guided his followers to respond.
